The 3-day Great Race Spring Rally was an incredible triumph! The weather couldn’t have been more perfect with sunshine, blue skies, and mild temperatures gracing the event. Our parking area was packed with enthusiastic visitors, many of whom brought their cars to showcase. Around 4:00, the first rally car made its grand entrance, accompanied by the engaging commentary of Great Race Announcer Jason White, who shared the fascinating stories of each car and team. Visitors had the opportunity to get up close with the parked cars and interact with the teams. Adding to the excitement, Tom Daldin and Jim Edelman of Under The Radar Michigan arrived in Jim’s classic 1962 Mercury Monterey, accompanied by sweepstakes winners Mark and Marion McAlpine! The McAlpines were treated to a special escort from the Wills Sainte Claire Museum in Marysville to the Stahls Collection, where they joined the teams for dinner. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in our sweepstakes, helping us launch our Autos for Autism Fundraiser in support of the Ted Lindsay Foundation.
Looking ahead, mark your calendars for the full Great Race starting at the end of June from Owensboro, Kentucky. Don’t forget to stay connected with them on Facebook, Instagram, and their website, www.greatrace.com, for daily updates!
